Sergio Aguero splits from model girlfriend after four years as she denies kissing man in nightclub | The Sun

SERGIO AGUERO has split from model girlfriend Sofia Calzetti after four years together.

It comes after a video emerged allegedly showing Sofia, 27, kissing another man in a nightclub.


Manchester City legend Aguero, 35, confirmed the split on his Twitch channel.

And now Sofia has reiterated that they have broken up, but insists she still loves him "very much".

Speaking to Argentine journalist Angel de Brito, she said: "Many things are said that are not true.

"Everything is fine, we have good dialogue, but a lot of nonsense is said.

"I am not in a relationship. He [Aguero] is a person whom I love very much and I have a lot of respect for him.

"The causes of the separation are between us, relationship problems."

Argentine Sofia also addressed the video which appeared to show the alleged kiss.

She responded: "I saw something, I went out with friends to dance, we were having fun. Nothing more."

Sofia went on to categorically state: "There is no kiss."

Aguero was previously married to Diego Maradona's daughter, Giannina, for four years.

The pair divorced in 2012 but have one son together – Benjamin, 14.

Aguero, Man City's all-time record scorer, retired from football in 2021 at the age of 33 due to a heart condition.

He netted 260 goals for Man City and 101 for Atletico Madrid, as well as 41 in 101 games for Argentina.

The South American striker won five Premier League titles during his time at the Etihad, along with the FA Cup and six League Cups.

He also lifted the Europa League with Atletico and Copa America with Argentina.
