REAL MADRID'S Bernabeu stadium looks unrecognisable after a retractable pitch was installed.
The iconic venue has undergone a major £1billlion renovation.
As well as a new pitch, the Bernabeu now has a fully retractable roof and a new terrace which has helped to upgrade the hospitality section.
The outside of the stadium has been transformed while there has been a big change to the pitch.
The Bernabeu's luscious green is now retractable with technology in place to break up the pitch into six sections.
One by one each section is moved down a level and replaced by a concrete surface, making it suitable to host concerts or other sporting events.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has similar technology, as do modern stadiums in Japan and the USA, such as the University of Phoenix Stadium.
Fans were impressed with the technology and praised the new-look Bernabeu.
One said: "All new Bernabeu is looking sharp."
Another added: "It's such a beauty to behold."
