Who is Mo Salah's wife Magi Salah, and how many children does Liverpool ace have? | The Sun

FOOTBALL star Mo Salah has been married to wife Magi since 2013.

But who is she and how many children do the couple have? Here’s everything you need to know.

Who is Magi Salah?

Magi Salah is married to Egyptian footballer and Liverpool ace, Mo Salah.

As mentioned above, the couple tied the knot in 2013.

Both devout Muslims, Salah met his wife Magi during their time at school, when the pair lived in the Egyptian village of Basion Gharbia – where Salah returns every Ramadan to share his wealth with the community.

As the wife of a football star, Magi has been previously been spotted supporting her husband from the stands at Liverpool, following his move to Merseyside in 2017.

Aside from this information, not much else is know about Mo Salah’s wife, with the couple preferring to keep their private life out of the spotlight.

However, in 2019, Magi, who rarely appears on her Salah's social media accounts, was pictured alongside her husband – sharing a rare glimpse into the family’s private life.

How many children do they have?

Magi and Mo share two children.

The couple are the parents of daughters Makka and Kayan.

Makka was born in 2014 in London, where Salah was playing for Chelsea at the time.

Then in 2020, the family-of-three grew bigger after the arrival of their second child Kayan, who was born in February of that year – nine months after Liverpool's stunning comeback against Barcelona in the Champions League.

In 2019, proud dad Mo dressed up as Maui from the Disney film Moana to celebrate one of his daughter's birthdays.

Similarly, in March 2023, the footballer once again shared an insight into his family life – this time posting a sweet snap smiling with his children.

Sharing the snap to his 62 million Instagram followers, Salah wrote: ''May God make you happy and keep you together.''

Who has Mo Salah played for?

As mentioned above, Mo Salah plays for Liverpool's Premier League club and is captain of the Egyptian national team.

The star player has also racked up goals for a number of big-name teams throughout his glittering career so far.

Teams include Swiss Super League club, Basel (2012), Chelsea (2014) and Roma (2016).
