EastEnders' Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) is hiding a number of secrets that could make her the prime suspect for the upcoming Christmas murder.
She's one of six women, including Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), who will find themselves in a shocking situation this Christmas when a dead body is discovered in the Queen Vic.
On Christmas Day, Sharon is set to tie the knot with Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters). However, they are both currently hiding secrets that could bring an end to their relationship if they come out.
Sharon recently discovered that Keanu isn't the father of her son Albie, with the youngster's biological dad actually being revealed to be none other than Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).
After Albie was kidnapped, Sharon took him to hospital for some general tests but soon doctors were ordering more specialist tests after spotting something worrying.
They later confirmed nothing major was wrong, but Albie had a genetic condition that had to come from both of his parents – but Keanu didn't have the gene present.
Sharon has kept this secret from Keanu, but could it all come out on Christmas Day? Or does someone threaten to reveal her secret, leading her to take drastic action to keep it hidden?
While Sharon is hiding a secret, Keanu harbours his own as well, as his involvement in the kidnapping plot is yet to be revealed.
Instead, Keanu has solely blamed mum Karen (Lorraine Stanley) for Albie's disappearance, following which she has fled to Spain, taking Phil's money with her.
However, if this secret comes out, some viewers have suggested that it could lead Sharon to murder Keanu on their wedding day.
Speaking ahead of the dramatic Christmas episode, actress Letitia said: "Keanu obviously isn't the man Sharon thinks he is and although she is wracked with guilt over Albie's paternity she has no idea he is keeping this massive secret.
"Family is everything to Sharon, and the idea that Keanu would purposely play with her emotions in such a cruel way would absolutely break her. I don't think she could forgive him for that."
She continued: "And then there's Phil. Say what you like about their dysfunctional relationship, but through all of their ups and down over the years, they have always had each other's backs so it is tearing her apart that she is betraying him over Albie and we all know how Phil can react when he's burnt by those closest to him.
"Phil will do anything for his kids, as will Sharon, so it could be disastrous for them both if the truth were to ever come out."
