BBC Strictly Come Dancing’s Halloween special slammed over ‘ridiculous choices

Adam Thomas admits Strictly Come Dancing is helping his arthritis

BBC fans have been left less than impressed after Strictly Come Dancing revealed which songs the couple will be dancing to this weekend.

On Saturday night, the remaining stars will be taking to the dancefloor for a Halloween special.

Over the years, fans have seen the spooktacular show feature drastic costumes, haunting dances and songs fitting in keeping with the theme.

However, as the songs and routines were recently released on Strictly’s official Instagram, the show has come under fire with many thinking the songs have little to no link to Halloween.

Some of the choices include Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Lauren Oakley doing the Viennese Waltz to Kiss From A Rose by Seal and Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe doing the Tango to Need You Tonight by INXS.

Commenting on the options, fan @louisetheresamahoney commented: “Only a couple of ‘Halloween’ songs there. C’mon Where’s the monster mash, thriller, Halloween theme song etc?”

Replying, user @amywonderland92 added: “They already did them but yeah, I agree. There’s plenty of other Halloween or horror music they could dance to! Get they want to keep it kid-friendly but this is ridiculous.”

@katievictoria88 said in light of her followers: “Same thought!!”

Another fan questioned: “They can’t keep doing the same songs again and again, can they?”
