First Look at Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard on Bravo
Below Deck’s Captain Lee Rosbach was left confused after Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard still went on her bachelorette trip despite calling off her engagement.
After a proposal in August 2022, Lindsay and Carl Radke planned to tie the knot with a luxury ceremony in Mexico next month.
However, earlier this month the pair cancelled their nuptials with a letter obtained by People, with an apology to their family and friends.
Carl wrote: “Words cannot possibly express how difficult the last two weeks have been for Lindsay and I.
“We are so incredibly sorry to all of our guests for the confusion and lack of communication,” citing “false narratives and misunderstandings,” he added: “Sadly at this time we are not moving forward with the wedding.”

Despite the end of their relationship, Lindsay has spent the past few days making the most of their reserved getaway by taking her friends to Nassau, Bahamas instead.
Taking to Instagram with a sweet tribute to her bride tribe, she wrote: “The way these girls have rallied around me the last 3 weeks, held my hand, sat in showers and cried with me.
“Picked me up, never left my side, never let me feel alone, and then took me on a trip – that was originally planned for completely different reasons – and yet still carried on with this trip because it became more important.”
The 37-year-old added: “I’m beyond blessed and thankful for every single one of these girls. This is a story about sisterhood, and I could not do life without them.”

While fans praised the star and were pleased to see her reunite with Bravo’s Danielle Olivera, Samantha Feher and Gabby Prescod, Captain Lee shared his confusion.
The “Stud of the Sea” who was set to officiate Lindsay and Carl’s wedding spoke about their split on his podcast, Salty with Captain Lee.
“They are going through a tough time – Lindsay and Carl, it is hard to watch but I guess she is going through with her bachelorette party, but I don’t know if you would call it a bachelorette party right now.”
Captain Lee wondered: “I guess they had it in the Bahamas and everyone was dressed in black.”

Although his co-host Sam DeCavalcanti tried to explain the therapeutic reasons for the getaway, Lee remained mystified.
The 73-year-old remarked: “I don’t think that getting away … if you are trying to get away from something.
“You do it by going to a party with people who do nothing but remind you of what you are doing there?”
After offering up advice, the Below Deck star added: “Well I hope it works out for the both of them.”
