Big Brother’s Chanelle loses eviction immunity as she’s punished after big rule break

Tuesday's Big Brother saw Chanelle, Jenkin, and Oliva appear to discuss the upcoming nominations – and it's something that Big Brother did not miss.

And since the rule break, the show's official Twitter account has revealed that the trio will be facing punishment, with Chanelle losing the immunity she had won earlier in the week.

They wrote: "Breaking news! Big Brother sees it all, including a recent rule break…

"As a result, Chanelle has had her Eviction immunity revoked, and another Housemate will suffer the wrath of Big Brother. All will be revealed tonight on Big Brother: Late & Live!"

Chanelle could be heard discussing the nomination process with Oliva and Jenkin, as Olivia told her pals: "Tomorrow is going to be f***ing hard."

To which Jenkin and Chanelle replied: "For you" before Chanelle added: "I forgive but I'll never forget. For me, my best mate is up for eviction."

Olivia then said: "So you know what? In a way I needed to hear that because sometimes I can be a bit like that where I see something in someone and think…"

Jenkin then quickly put an end to the conversation, but not before viewers noticed the rule break.

And while Chanelle's punishment has been having her immunity revoked, it's yet to be revealed how Jenkin and Olivia will be punished.

Previous rule breaks of this nature have led to housemates being put in a jail cell in the garden.

Yinrun was placed in jail after she opened up to Henry about how she chose who to nominate, expressing how difficult the process was.

And before that, Olivia and the now-evicted Hallie were placed in jail after they exchanged secret messages in which they discussed nomination.

Olivia and Hallie's punishment led to a number of complaints to Ofcom after the pair were left outside in the rain, with viewers also sharing their thoughts on social media.

One wrote: "Complaining to ofcom as we speak." Another added: "Can't wait to see how many ofcom complaints there are about hallie and olivia being left in the rain."

After the pair was let out of the cages, a third fan wrote: "#Big Brother has freed OLIVIA and HALLIE from jail in the garden and they are raging. Rightfully so.

"It was inhumane to do that in the rain. COVID-19 is still doing the rounds. Big Brother failed their duty of care."
