Carol Vorderman says she wants to get rid of Tories on Sunday Brunch
Carol Vorderman “wouldn’t touch” GB News “with a barge pole” a source has claimed after the channel’s chief executive reportedly reached out to meet up with her.
According to The Mirror, GB News’ boss Angelos Frangopoulos messaged the former Countdown star after she left her BBC job.
She did not reply to Mr Frangopoulos’ message, with a source claiming: “Carol wouldn’t touch that channel with a barge-pole.”
The 62-year-old quit her BBC Radio Wales job last month after breaching social media guidelines by lambasting the Government.
The alleged text came despite presenters and guests on GB News making personal comments about Carol on air.

Carol re-tweeted the source’s comment on the social media platform this morning.
In November, Patrick Christys was forced to apologise after his guest made a remark about Carol’s breasts on his GB News show.
“They seem to have forgotten how vile some of their rhetoric has been about her,” another source added.
It is understood GB News’ ratings are at around 34,000, with accounts showing the channel lost more than £30million in the year to last May.
