AFTER showing up in the cobbles, Cassandra Plummer promised she'd get her act together and stay clean.
But her demons catch up with her next week in Coronation Street, leaving her granddaughter Hope Stape shocked to the core.
Cassandra Plummer (portrayed by Claire Sweeney) was revealed to be alive despite her mother Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) claiming the contrary to her son Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall).
But when Cassie showed up with the firm intention of bonding with the mechanic, Evelyn made the decision to take her away from Weatherfield first in a last-ditch attempt at getting her clean and sober.
Both women returned to the ITV cobbles with Cassie vowing to stick to her guns and stay off drugs.
Unfortunately, her addictions catch up with her in upcoming scenes of the Manchester-based drama.
