Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton has addressed fans' concerns about her weight loss.
The reality TV star, who found fame after winning Celebrity Big Brother in 2006, appeared on This Morning on Wednesday, 4 October, to talk about the return of the iconic show.
But she was then forced to explain her recent weight loss after viewers expressed concern over her slimming figure.
The 40-year-old took to social media to assure her followers not to worry as she is 'really healthy.' Speaking to the camera while doing the school run, she said: "Lots of people have been asking me if I am OK, which is really sweet, saying I look slim.
"I am completely sugar-free and in a really, really good place, so thanks for caring, thanks for asking."
The star added: "But I am really good, I am really healthy and I am absolutely loving life and am just so, so grateful."
Chantelle was sent into Celebrity Big Brother in 2006 as a member of the public tasked with a secret mission to convince her housemates that she was actually famous.
She ended up finding love on the show with Ordinary Boys' Preston, and the pair went on to tie the knot, but their marriage broke down after 10 months, and they parted ways. The former couple still remains close friends.
Chantelle has undergone a huge transformation over recent years, having lost five stone after completely changing her lifestyle. She also ditched her signature bleach blonde locks for glossy dark hair instead.
The star has been candid about how she struggled with her weight after finding fame on the show and becoming a yo-yo dieter.
She told The Sun: "I wasn't eating, or only eating when I was starving. And then, when I was starving, I was eating anything I could get my hands on. I'd stop at McDonald's or get a bag of crisps or a bag of chips."
In search of a healthier lifestyle, Chantelle then adopted a sugar-free and vegan diet. She added: "I've lost it really healthily, not on any crazy diet. It's been a complete lifestyle change. I'm sugar-free and I don't eat any processed food, just really healthy, eating the right foods, getting the right nutrients."
Chantelle also revealed that she dyed her hair darker after ending up with 'bald patches' from all the bleach and extensions she was using. She's since had all her extensions taken out and credits weekly Kerastase treatments as her secret to luscious, long locks.
