GEORDIE Shore star Charlotte Crosby reveals that fiance Jake Ankers suffered a panic attack during the romantic proposal.

The 33-year-old took to Instagram to announce what happened when Jake got down on one knee.


Charlotte told fans about Jake's proposal in a gushing Instagram post to her 8.8million followers. She later took to her story to share more details.

On her story, she said: "Hi everyone, I'm engaged!"

Her fiance then added: "Can we just say, I had an anxiety attack and a panic attack, I had to stop filming."

Charlotte continued: "I've never seen a ring like this before in my life. It's got five diamonds."

Jake and Charlotte met through mutual friends.

They were reportedly seeing each other "casually" before going public in January 2022.

Charlotte and Jake share one child, Alba Jean, one.

After a two-year romance, Jake popped the question on holiday in Dubai.

Delighted Charlotte, posted the proposal on Instagram with the caption: "Yes yes yes and yes @jake_ankers you are my best friend you are my life. I CANT BELIEVE IM ENGAGED AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh. Best night ever."

After she vowed to stay single following her split from Liam Beaumont just before the end of 2021, she found new love with Jake.

Charlotte met Liam in Dubai through DJ Chris Wright.
