Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon and Tina O'Brien struggle to crawl into a taxi after boozy soap awards after-party | The Sun

CORRIE stars Lucy Fallon and Tina O’Brien let their hair down at last night’s soap bash.

The actors were seen sharing a giggle as they struggled to get into their cabs after the Inside Soap Awards.

Lucy, 27, who appeared to confirm her return as Bethany Platt last night, was spotted embracing Tina outside the venue.

She previously starred in Corrie from 2015 to 2020 and has stayed close to Tina, 39 — her on-screen mum Sarah Platt.

Looking very merry, the pair snuggled up in their glam frocks before new mum Lucy tried to get into her cab.

The star looked amazing in a red mini dress and showed off her long legs as she made her way to her seat and headed home.

Earlier in the night she delighted her fans when she shared a picture of herself and announced "Bethany’s back".

The Sun previously told how  Lucy – whose character left Weatherfield for a magazine internship in London — will start filming in the coming months and her first scenes will air “after Christmas”.

It comes after the award-winning actress had a baby boy, Sonny, in January with Preston North End footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson, 25.

Meanwhile,  at the ceremony Coronation Street's Dame Maureen Lipman was awarded best comic performance, which was previously announced, for her role as Evelyn Plummer; and Todd Boyce was named best villain for his portrayal of Stephen Reid – the soap's serial killer.
