Dancing On Ices Ryan Thomas tackles racy routine with pro partner as she skates through his legs

Ryan Thomas looked dedicated to perfecting his racy routine ahead of starring on the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice as he got to work practising his skills in rehearsals with his pro partner.

The former Coronation Street star, 39, looked deep in concentration as he was snapped giving his all to his ice skating routine while his partner Amani Fancy gave him instructions.

The actor, 39, endured yet another gruelling session this week where he was put through his paces by the professional.

He wrapped up warm for training in a beige jumper and dark trousers, finishing off the look with a cosy cream beanie.

In one aspect of the routine, things got heated on the ice as Ryan picked up Amani and turned her upside down before she then skated around the star before being pulled through his legs in a risqué moment.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner and Amani appeared to be in perfect harmony as they tackled some challenging lifts and spins on the ice.

Seemingly happy with their rehearsals, the pair embraced in hug before making their way off the ice.

Amani also looked stylish for rehearsals as she dressed in an all black ensemble featuring cargo pants and a roll neck top.

Ryan has been seemingly eager to get a head start on the show and other recent photos snapped the skating pair after a training session.

They practised in the car park and Ryan was seen holding two-time British national champion Amani up in the air.

Ryan's appearance in rehearsals comes just days after he joked he 'might sign out' of the show, saying it's the hardest challenge he's faced so far.

In a video shared to his Instagram Story, the dad-of-two said he was coming to terms with the show.

He told his followers: "Guys, what have I signed up for here? Because I don't think I've thought this one through. I don't like dancing, I don't like choreography and I'm now doing both of them, on ice! Do you know how hard that is?"

He continued: "It's a big problem because when I said yes to this job I was like, 'I like a bit of skating at Christmas, great fun, quite enjoyed myself' and I completely forgot this show is actually called Dancing on Ice.

"Now I know that everyone else, all the other celebs, are going through the exact same as me and, if you're not, you're lying to yourself and, if you're enjoying it and you're finding it easy, then you might as well pick up your trophy, you've won it!"

He also said it might be 'his hardest challenge so far', adding: "I might sign out you know. I might back out. Is it too late? I don't know but I'm debating it."

However Amani shared her happiness about being paired with Ryan on Instagram as she posted a photo of them skating together and wrote a long caption.

She said: "I've honestly been hoping for this pairing since the @dancingonice line up came out after watching an interview Ryan was on, to the point where I've nagged production to tell me if it was him countless times but had no luck until today!"

She added that "everything she thought of Ryan may be is true" – before going on to describe him as "genuinely empathetic, enthusiastic, cheeky, funny and ambitious man." She added he is "all the things that make for a great skating partner", before saying he has "such a huge heart, especially for his beautiful family!"

She continued: "Ryan, the journey and the work begins now. It's going to be intense, frustrating, beautiful and rewarding all at the same time, but I promise to try and make this the best experience for you. I'm so proud to be your partner and cannot wait to see you thrive and become the skater I know you can be. Who knows, maybe we won't be able to tell who the professional is by the end of the competition".

She signed off by writing: "Everyone, get ready. Team Thomas bringing the suave with a touch of Fancy."

Ryan will compete in the 2024 series alongside a line-up of fellow celebrities including Emmerdale actress Roxy Shahidi, boxer Ricky Hatton, presenter Claire Sweeney, S Club 7 star Hannah Spearritt and BBC Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts.
