Emmerdale: Jacob Gallagher and Victoria share a kiss
Emmerdale fans have ‘worked out’ a major Christmas plot as several have predicted Victoria Sugden (played by Isabel Hodgins) will end up pregnant with Jacob Gallagher’s (Joe-Warren Plant) baby.
Others have also theorised this will lead to Jacob’s father figure David Metcalfe’s (Matthew Wolfenden) exit after actor Matthew confirmed recently he’d be leaving the ITV soap.
David has no idea his ex, Victoria, and Jacob have started a romantic relationship, and on Wednesday’s episode, David even admitted he wanted Victoria back.
As the new couple attempt to keep their romance under wraps, it seems clear the plot might come to an explosive ending.
Fans of the ITV soap took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their Christmas storyline theories.

@Talkytalky60 penned: “Victoria pregnant by Christmas #Emmerdale.” (sic)

@AngeAussie echoed this view, writing: “Victoria is pregnant.”
Others put the two together to identify the plot as a possible reason for David’s exit from the village.
@hannahforest commented: “Victoria and Jacob’s relationship has come out of the blue and it’s all to facilitate David’s exit! #Emmerdale.”
@pipmacguitar fumed: “As annoying as David is… Why do you always orchestrate s*** that includes Jacob getting with girls his Dad likes and has been with?! What s a f***ing distasteful exit story for David!”

At one point in the latest episode, David knocked on Victoria’s door while she was home with Jacob.
The latter quickly hid as David let himself in, clearly trying to broach the subject of the pair getting back together.
Later, David explained it had been clear Victoria wasn’t interested in a reunion.
“Couldn’t get rid of me quick enough,” he remarked.
“I’m sorry,” Jacob replied before suggesting he try to move on.
Could the secret come out during the festive season and culminate in David’s explosive goodbye to the village?
