HERE’S a first look at the new police drama ITV hope might prove to be a rival for the BBC’s Line Of Duty.

After The Flood will see Gentleman Jack star Sophie Rundle transform into PC Joanna Marshall, who investigates a murder following a devastating flood in a sleepy Yorkshire town.

When a man is found dead in a lift in an underground car park, cops assume he drowned in the rising waters.

But PC Marshall is determined to dig deeper, even if it means exposing secrets and ruining reputations.

She will be joined by The Crown’s Nicholas Gleaves as Sgt Phil Mackie and Life On Mars’ Philip Glenister as property developer Jack.

Lorraine Ashbourne portrays her mum and Jacqueline Boatswain is local politician Sarah Mackie.
