Susanna Reid refuses to rule out going into the jungle
Good Morning Britain presenters have teased that one of the show’s stars is set to enter the jungle when I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! returns in ten days hosted yet again by Ant McParling and Declan Donnelly.
ITV presenter Susanna Reid has been linked to the show but the latest name to be bandied about is Alex Beresford, 43, who has been strongly tipped to appear.
Alex has added fuel to the speculation by admitting that being a campmate would be “awesome.”
However, Susanna seems to have poured cold water on the rumours on Thursday’s show as she told viewers today that fellow weather presenter Laura Tobin had tuned super-sleuth and checked out the upcoming working rota.
Susanna said that at the time the ITV reality show is being filmed: “Alex is working on this very show.”
While her co-hosts suggested that meant he must not be going in she quipped: “That’s what they would do if they were booked to go Down Under.”

Her remarks came after she herself refused to rule out that she was heading to Australia to film the show. During Wednesday’s instalment of Good Morning Britain, entertainment reporter Richard Arnold spoke about the upcoming series.
He commented: “Throughout the year there’s been a few names bouncing around.”
Richard highlighted people such as Denise Van Outen, Frankie Dettori and indeed Alex have all been mentioned, although nothing has yet been confirmed.
Susanna added: “Ranvir is convinced I’m going in, she keeps sending me texts of snakes and spiders.”
Mentioning her new haircut, Richard replied: “Maybe that’s why you’ve got your hair quite manageable now?” Meanwhile Ed Balls chimed in: “We need you here!”

Despite the imminent start date the line-up for the show is yet to be officially announced.
However rumoured contestant Frankie Dettori was confirmed to be in Australia after 52-year-old jockey took to social media to reveal he was indeed Down Under.
Former JLS star Marvin Humes is another star rumoured to be in the running to appear as is This Morning host Josie Gibson.
Meanwhile, Love Island star Gemma Owen has fuelled speculation that she too is joining the series, as she shared on Instagram that she was on a plane to Australia, but didn’t reveal why she’s visiting the country.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here returns to ITV at 9pm on November 19. Good Morning Britain is on ITV Monday to Friday from 6am.
