Good Morning Britain's Richard Madeley and Kate Garraway under fire as 'aggressive' 90s star attacks fellow guest | The Sun

AN "aggressive" 90s star failed to be pulled up on his behaviour towards a fellow guest on Good Morning Britain, leaving fans furious.

Hosts Richard Madeley and Kate Garraway are under fire for not stepping in during a heated debate about the Covid Inquiry between broadcasters Terry Christian and Dominique Samuels.

The public hearings are not due to finish until 2026 and the cost has already run into tens of millions of pounds.

During the clash, Dominique said it was a "waste of money" and argued the government should be focused on rebuilding the economy instead.

She continued: It's just a waste of time and telling us a lot of things we already know.

"As someone who was vehemently against lockdowns in the first place, it just confirms that never again should people, so willingly, trust politicians or governments that try to convince you to shut down your businesses, shut down your whole life and not see your loved ones, while in private they're partying away."

Terry – who presented Channel 4's late night entertainment show The Word in 1990 – argued: "This could come around again, a deadlier virus.

"We need to have competent people involved to deal with it next time.

"What we can't have is people blagging and lying to us any more for political gain."

He continued to speak over Dominique as she explained: "I agree with you. I actually agree with you, I agree with your sentiment."

Terry then sneered: "It's not a sentiment. It's facts."

Dominique looked taken aback as she replied: "OK, I agree with your 'facts', but I don't know why you're being so aggressive."

Terry then smirked at her statement as the debate continued, without Richard or Kate acknowledging Dominique's concerns.

At the end of the segment, Kate told the rowing pair to "take it outside and have your own inquiry".

Viewers were unhappy about the exchange, with one writing on X, formerly known as Twitter: "Terry Christian very aggressive towards Dominque and wasn’t once called out about it."

Another added: "Terry could you have been any more aggressive towards female on GMTV not a good look."

Someone else added: "I 100% agree we absolutely need an enquiry into the covid fiasco but why oh why is that Terry so aggressive… he's turned into a very grumpy old man!!"

"He’s so aggressive to the poor lass on trying to speak," added another.

A viewer claimed: "Terry Christian, what a vile man. Came across as an aggressive bully."

Host Richard also faced calls to be sacked earlier in the show for asking a Palestinian man "how close" he was to his family who were killed.
