I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!'s voting percentages have been revealed – and it was a close call at the very end.

Sam Thompson was crowned King of the Jungle, but he was up against his best pal in there as viewers fell in love with Sam's bromance with Tony Bellew. Many fans were begging for both of them to take home the title, which makes it no surprise that the final figures were so tight.

ITV have now revealed that Sam managed to get 56.6% of the votes to win the show – just over half. Meanwhile, his co-star Tony got 43.3%, just under half.

But things were a bit clearer for Sam when it came to the vote to determine third place, with Sam bringing in a whopping 43.3% of the votes, while Tony had 30.8% and Nigel Farage had 25.7%.

Most of the celebrities who had left the jungle expressed their wishes for Sam to take home the crown after his happy attitude kept spirits up. His co-star Tony praised Sam's win and said he knew from the get-go that he would take home the crown.

He said: "There is so much negativity in the world and we feel it but Sam doesn't. I only wish I could feel like Sam 24 hours a day.

"But when I am with him I do feel like Sam because you only have to look at him and it is smiles and laughter. I want him to keep the energy he has got, I will always be there for him, he has got a friend for life."

Sam often had on a happy face in the jungle, and on one occasion he even thanked Ant and Dec for letting him do a Bushtucker Trial – something they both said hadn't happened before.

Following the news of his win, Sam thanked the voters at home, saying: "I'm so grateful, thank you so much. I've dreamt of doing this show for years and years and you made this boy's dream come true."

He was met at the end of the bridge by his best pal Pete Wicks, who had also briefly appeared in the jungle to give him a pep talk when family members surprised their loved ones. The ex Made In Chelsea star went on Instagram afterwards to tell his followers he's a "very lucky person" and appreciates all of his supporters.
