Marvin Humes has been axed from I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

During Friday night's show (December 8) presenters Ant and Dec announced had received the fewest votes and would be leaving the jungle, narrowly missing out on the final four. As he hugged his campmates goodbye, the JLS star insisted: "I'm happy. I'm good!"

The final four celebrities who remain in camp are Josie Gibson, Sam Thompson, Tony Bellew, and Nigel Farage. As the 38-year-old walked across the bridge, Ant noted: "He's out now and he looks very happy about it too!"

Sitting down with the duo, Marvin confessed it was the "perfect" time to leave after reuniting with wife Rochelle Humes in camp the day before. Things got emotional when Rochelle snuck into an empty main camp and waited for Marvin to arrive.

Rochelle said to herself: “This is mad. I’m so nervous, what the hell.” Walking in and seeing her Marvin exclaimed: “Oh my god!” As he hugged the This Morning presenter, he gushed: “That feels so good.” Rochelle said: “I’m so ready for you to come home," adding: "You really stink. Really stink."

Marvin and Rochelle share three children, Alaia-Mai, 10, Valentina, six, and three-year-old Blake. "How are the kids?” Marvin asked as Rochelle replied: "Everyone’s so good."

Before Rochelle left camp, Marvin hugged her one final time, saying: "I’m so grateful for everything in my life. This makes you so, so, so grateful. I know it sounds cheesy but it is life-changing, it really is."

Marvin's exit comes after Nigel and Josie clashed over who would be doing the latest Bushtucker Trial. Following Danielle Harold's exit, Josie was named camp leader by default and took a seat on her throne as Marvin revealed the latest challenge was Christmas-themed.

In normal fashion, the campmates stood up one by one and explained their reasoning for putting themselves forward for the trial. Josie put herself forward, insisting: "I need to prove myself now."

Nigel responded: "Josie, you don’t need to. You’ve got to go into this saying 'I’m not frightened of whatever they’re going to throw at me'. If you can’t say… then you shouldn’t do it, is my view." Josie hit back: "I was saying I want to prove myself and you were going, ‘You shouldn’t do it, you shouldn’t do it'."

Sam said separately: "Josie, if you want to do it, you do it." Swiping at Nigel, Josie replied: "No, it’s alright. Let Nige do it, he wants the airtime." In the Bush Telegraph Josie added: "I should have fought my corner a bit more but he wants the airtime because he wants to prove himself to the nation."
