ITV I’m A Celeb fans say Zara McDermott’s ‘fuming’ over ‘disrespectful’ Sam Thompson scenes

I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! fans have said Zara McDermott "won't be happy" with boyfriend Sam Thompson's recent behaviour in the jungle.

Sam, 31, could be seen joking around with co-stars Josie Gibson and Danielle Harold in Wednesday's (6 December) episode of the hit ITV show, with the threesome getting very close while only wearing swimwear.

This Morning's Josie, 38, sported a red bikini as she lay on an inflatable float in the pool, while Sam then laying directly on top of her. EastEnders actress Danielle, 31, then proceeded to lie on top of Sam.

The two women joked: "Sam, the filling to our sandwich," as they all laughed together.

A clip of the moment was shared to Sam's Instagram account, prompting many viewers to voice their concerns over his behaviour as girlfriend Zara, 26, would be watching his antics at home.

One fan predicted: "Zara won’t be happy with this," and a second said: "I bet Zara’s absolutely fuming Sam," while a third wrote: "I think it’s inappropriate. He has a girlfriend and this is wrong and disrespectful."

A fourth wrote: "I love the guy and I know it wasn’t malicious but that can’t be nice for his woman to see. Imagine it was the other way around and he had to watch Zara sandwiched between two blokes like that in that situation. I bet he’d be feeling different."

Zara appeared to shut down the speculation however, as she commented on the snap: "A Sammy sandwich xxxx," with several laughing emojis and red heart emojis.

The former Love Island star, who has been dating Sam since 2016, then took to Instagram on Thursday (7 December) to share a gushing post about her beau as she excitedly counted down the days until they are reunited.

Alongside a photo of her and Sam on holiday together, Zara penned: "WHEN YOU REALISE ITS ONLY 3 DAYS UNTIL THE IM A CELEB FINAL!!! I couldn't be prouder of this one… I cannot believe its already been three weeks!"

She continued: "You are teaching us all to be a little more 'Sam', to take life a little less seriously, to laugh at ourselves a little more, and to never care what anyone else thinks. Never dull your sparkle for anyone my darling. Everyone loves you so much."
