I’m a Celebrity viewers say they have worked out the ‘real reason’ why Frankie Dettori was the first to leave the jungle. The champion jockey was booted off the show just a week after entering as a late arrival with boxing star Tony Bellew.
Some viewers were shocked to see Frankie go, with many predicting it would instead be Youtuber Nella, due to her clashes with some of her other campmates. Fans are now claiming that Frankie was only axed because he is so ‘quiet’ with some saying he didn’t get much airtime.
One person took to social media platform X saying: "Gobsmacked it wasn’t Nella. Frankie was as quiet as I’ve ever known him in there."
Another penned: "Knew it would be Frankie as he’s so quiet and the public are d***s not sure if he was edited unfairly." "Poor Frankie – what a genuinely lovely guy just too quiet to get airtime," said a third.
"Not really surprised Frankie has gone tbf hes been quite quiet and hasn't had the airtime tbh that's why I think," chimed in a fourth.
As Frankie exited the show and was greeted by Ant and Dec, as he told them: "It’s been so surreal and an adventure. Yesterday really hit me when we got the letters – you forget there is a world outside."
On Sunday’s show, 3 December, The 52-year-old was sent packing just 12 days into entering the jungle after receiving the fewest public votes.
On being a later comer and the first out, Frankie said: "I’m disappointed yes, but very happy because I did nearly two weeks in the jungle, I faced my fears of enclosed spaces and snakes all in the same task."
When asked who he thought would win the series, Frankie said: '"I think Sam will win, he's a larger than life character, he's completely nuts, but funny." As Frankie crossed the bridge, he was greeted by his wife of 26 years, Catherine Dettori.
Since his late arrival, Frankie has appeared unassuming in the jungle, with many fans of the show claiming it was a ‘fix’ that he was booted off first.
One person said: "I'm a celebrity is definitely fixed not a chance Frankie was voted out first." Another added: "Why would people vote for Frankie to leave!! Even I'm A Celebrity is corruption. There's no way that's correct."
But others were glad to see Frankie go in favour of the less ‘boring’ remaining contestants. One viewer said: "Frankie was boring on Celebrity Big Brother and he was boring on I'm a Celebrity."
While another added: "I thought for the first half hour of I'm a celebrity Frankie Dettori had left he was moping about sat down not talking or smiling or getting involved what a boring contestant he is."
