I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here star Jamie Lynn Spears has sent a message to hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly just days after the series came to an end.
Jamie Lynn sensationally quit the jungle after 11 days, but she has thanked the whole team behind the programme, in a heartfelt post.
The 32 year old has shared a number of behind the scenes snaps of her stint on the reality show on her Instagram page.
Alongside the images, she wrote: “This girl had noooooo clue what she was about to walk into, but THANK GOODNESS she did, bc she walked out of the jungle with a whole new group of life long friends!
“Thankful to all the crew, producers, @itv & @antanddec for such an impressive production, and sooooooo proud of all my camp mates for making the jungle their biatch.”
She continued: “Thank you to the FANS who watch and support us, and allow us to have these incredible experiences-we owe it all to yall.”
During her time in camp, Jamie Lynn struggled to cope with being away from her family, but she eventually left due to “medical reasons.”
A show spokesperson confirmed the news in November, as they said: “Jamie Lynn Spears has left I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds.
"She’s been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities.”
Just hours after the news broke, Ant and Dec addressed her departure on the live show, as they said: “We’ve got some breaking news for you, Jamie Lynn Spears has left the camp on medical grounds.
“The good news is, Jamie Lynn is doing fine and she goes away with our best wishes.”
Several days later, the singer broke her silence and gave her fans an update on her condition, and time down under.
Taking to social media, she wrote: “I can’t wait to share with y’all everything about this once in a lifetime experience, but I don’t even know where to start when trying to describe what an incredibly special time and place I had with some of the absolute best humans I have ever met and consider family now.
“THANK YALL for welcoming me into your living rooms night after night, and for supporting me through all the highs and lows.
“I’m am so grateful for this show, and all of the wonderful people apart of it!”
She finished by saying: “I will be taking some time to recovery and spend time with my family, but looking forward to sharing all about my journey on @imacelebrity with everyone! LOVE YALLLL.”
