Jamie-Lynn Spears shocked ITV viewers when she decided to leave this year's I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, and now the mum-of-two has broken her silence.
The actress and singer posted on Instagram: "I can’t wait to share with y’all everything about this once in a lifetime experience, but I don’t even know where to start when trying to describe what an incredibly special time and place I had with some of the absolute best humans I have ever met and consider family now.
"THANK YALL for welcoming me into your living rooms night after night, and for supporting me through all the highs and lows.
"I’m am so grateful for this show, and all of the wonderful people apart of it!
"I will be taking some time to recovery and spend time with my family, but looking forward to sharing all about my journey on @imacelebrity with everyone! LOVE YALLLL."
Jamie-Lynn, who is the sister of Britney, made the tough decision after a rocky few days in the camp, and it was confirmed that the 32 year old exited the show "on medical grounds".
A show spokesperson said: “Jamie-Lynn Spears has left I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds.
"She’s been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities," ITV bosses added.
Jamie-Lynn's exit follows Grace Dent's departure from the camp only a couple of days earlier, as the food critic also left the show "for medical reasons".
It was also confirmed that despite her early exit, Jamie-Lynn will still receive her full payment from ITV.
Reports suggest that she was the second-highest-paid star on the show, with a rumoured fee of £250,000.
Ahead of her departure, the star had already hinted that she no longer wanted to stay in the jungle.
Jamie told fellow campmate and former Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson: "I hate it here so much, I hate it here so much, I hate it here so much. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it here. This place is where people go to have the worst days of their lives. Dear God, please help me to make it."
"I think I've got to leave, I think I've got to leave," she added.
