Lorraine Kelly admits The Crown is hitting ‘too close to home’
Lorraine has shared her thoughts surrounding Netflix’s The Crown, saying she is “unsure” about the final season which is due to drop next month.
The highly anticipated series will be coming to a conclusion with a sixth season, which will explore topics such as Princess Diana’s death and the story behind Prince William meeting Kate Middleton.
Speaking on her show today, Lorraine Kelly admitted that the new season feels a little “too close to home.”
She was chatting to one of her guests, who said that apparently, Princess Diana’s ghost would appear in some scenes to speak to Royal members.
Lorraine sighed and said: “No, I don’t think so.”

The Crown’s fifth season aired a few months following the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II last year.
Season six picks up after Princess Diana was invited to go on holiday with Mohamed Al-Fayed in St Tropez in 1997.
The season will stretch to at least 2005 when the Prince of Wales ties the knot with Camilla Parker-Bowles.
It will also explore the moment Prince William met his future wife Kate Middleton at university in 2001.

It has also been announced which lucky actress is set to portray Pippa Middleton, Kate’s sister.
With a simple Instagram post, Matilda Broadbridge shared she had landed the role.
She penned: “A very short but very sweet trip to crown land [crown emoji] so excited to announce that I’ll be appearing as Pippa Middleton in @thecrownnetflix.
“So grateful to have been a tiny part of this production and for this experience, keep your eyes peeled [heart emoji] #thecrown #netflix #pippamiddleton.”
The Crown season six part one premieres November 16 on Netflix. Part two will drop just under a month later on December 14.
