LOVE Island's Sammy Root is well and truly single after his split from Jessica Harding.

Bit it turns out the ITV2 personality is already gearing up for his next public outing and is very much ready for more reality TV.


Sammy, 22, split from Jess Harding earlier this month, and it seems he already has his eye on the future as he wants to meet more people.

Speaking to Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks on their Staying Relevant podcast, he admitted that he wants to go on Celebs Go Dating.

He explained: "I really enjoy being on TV. Yeah, so maybe some more TV work."

To which both lads interjected as they suggested the series might be.good fit for the hunk, as Sammy confirmed that it's not off the table.

Hearing out their suggestio, he declared: "Possibly."

When asked about the idea behind staying relevant, he commented: "You can see it as just being on TV. Everyone knows who you are, but also just staying relevant as in making a career out of doing something you want to do."

The reality star has been linked to several people since splitting from Jess, which includes fellow former contestant Faye Winter.

He appeared to put his break up from Jess behind him as he attended the Pride of Britain awards.

At the star studded bash, he was seen putting his arm around a giggling Faye, who is also a Love Island alumni, as they waited for a taxi.

Meanwhile, the E4 reality series has been a popular dating destination for former stars of Love Island.

The likes of Adam Collard, Chloe Burrows appeared in the most recent series.

This comes after the likes of Laura Anderson, Liam Reardon, Curtis Pritchard, Megan Barton Hanson, Amy Hart, Eyal Booker, Olivia Attwood and Georgia Steel also starred in the hit Channel 4 series.

This comes after it was announced that the couple had split up earlier this month, just three months after the final.

In the weeks before their split, the couple made several red carpet appearances together, including at the The Sun's Who Cares Wins Awards, where they appeared distant.

Although they walked the red carpet together at the National Television Awards, insiders suggested they were struggling to get on behind the scenes.

They also fuelled rumours the relationship was on the rocks when they went to showbiz events separately.
