Lydia Dingle struggles to cope in aftermath of her rape in Emmerdale | The Sun

CRAIG Reed took advantage of Lydia Dingle after the pair reconnected at a job fair in the village.

The Emmerdale favourite played by Karen Blick is unable to move on from her horrifying rape ordeal next week.

Kind-hearted and devoted family woman Lydia Dingle has been a major source of support for Amelia Spencer as she immediately accepted her role as grandmother for baby Esther.

As a result, she decided to find a way to make some extra cash – which eventually led her to reconnect with her childhood sweetheart Craig Reed (Ben Addis) at a local job fair.

The pair have slowly bonded again with Craig offering Lydia a job and her stepson Samson a work experience placement.

But what was supposed to be an innocent and friendly reunion was perverted by Craig when he raped Lydia Dingle in shocking scenes aired on ITV.
