Married At First Sight’s Nathanial looks completely different in throwback snaps

Married At First Sight UK star Nathanial Valentino looks unrecognisable in resurfaced pictures on social media.

The 36-year-old TV personality married bride Ella Morgan, 29, on the show, who is the first transgender cast member to take part in the Channel 4 series.

But in throwback pictures from his Instagram page, Nathanial looks nothing like he does on the show.

Reality TV veteran Nathanial, who also starred in Geordie Shore: Hot Single Summer, E4's Young Free and Single, and Latesha's Grace's spin-off show Million Dollar Baby.

A series of old snaps show him rocking a scraped-back man bun look and nose ring as he poses with various celebs, including Will.i.am, Charlotte Crosby, and Will.i.am.

It's a far cry from his sleek and sophisticated look now as he rocks a shorter haircut and stylish clothing.

It comes as Nathanial claimed he left MAFS because he was 'manipulated' by the show's producers, leading to "anxiety attacks."

He opted to leave the show early after a rocky relationship with nurse Ella, who bravely opened up about being born male and transitioning into a female.

Fans watched as Nathanial admitted that he wasn't sure if he was 'sexually attracted to her.'

After coming off the show, the TV personality accused producers of 'manipulation,' telling the Sunday Mirror: "One couple was really broken down by their manipulations. I watched a person have a full-on panic attack in my apartment."

He also claimed that scenes were created for 'for entertainment purposes,' adding: "There are couples with a beautiful connection.

But with Ella, the show created a monster. I didn't know who I was marrying. Some of the welfare just wasn't there."

Nathanial alleges that he had asked producers if he could 'marry a man' as that is 'what he would normally go for.'

Channel 4 released a statement which said: "Nathaniel entered this with full and informed consent and was provided with more information than we would ordinarily share to make him aware that his bride was trans.

"The matching process entails a detailed interrogation of participants' preferences, and none of these would be overlooked when deciding who to pair them with.

"The welfare of all contributors is our top priority, and we ensure support is available before, during, and after filming – including 24/7 access to welfare or psych support. "The show is an unscripted reality series that follows real events as they naturally unfold and is in no way scripted."
