MICHELLE Heaton was left with blurred vision from her time on Channel 4's Celeb SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The Liberty X singer, 44, shared a shocking snap of her swollen and bloodshot eye after developing a recurring eye infection known as "swamp eye".
Michelle explained that she contracted the bacteria from "extreme dirty water" and poor conditions in the jungle.
The singer shared the grim photo and wrote: "TRIGGER WARNING ‼️
"This is called 'swamp eye'
"A year ago after returning from SAS Who Cares Wins parasite’s found in extreme dirty water from the jungle, decided to return in my eye with me.

"They lived in there & found their new home for over 3 months. Unable to see properly. To this day my vision is still slightly blurred in my right eye.
"I remember going straight into Dancing on Ice training with a patch on – almost until the live shows .
"Tune into SAS tonight 9pm Channel 4 to see if it was all worth it."
Michelle's fans were stunned by shocked by the gory snap and took to social media to praise the star on her bravery.

One wrote: "Oh Michelle. I can’t wait to watch tonight! I know you will be on stage when it’s starts but I’m sure you will catch it when your home or even tomorrow! So proud of you! We got this always."
Another posted: "Omg thats so scary. Wow your so brave SAS and Dancing on Ice are two of the most dangerous shows. Well done."
A third commented: "Gosh you poor thing!! That show has so many lasting injuries that come with it, great to watch though."
Michelle appears alongside MP Matt Hancock, Towie star James 'Arg' Argent and The Wanted singer Siva Kaneswaran among others.
Prior to the show airing, a source told The Sun: "Michelle is ready and raring to go and is out filming with her co-stars now.
“She has gone through so much in her personal life because of her struggle with alcoholism but she wants to prove to herself how far she has come.”
Last May Michelle revealed in an interview how she had been days from death after drinking and taking cocaine for three years.
She added: “This is a really good time for me to show people how far I have come on my journey and where I am right now.”
