Miriam Margolyes leaves Holly Willoughby red-faced with foul-mouthed slip up

This Morning: Miriam Margolyes apologises after swearing

Miriam Margolyes was forced to apologise after she used offensive language during Wednesday’s instalment of This Morning.

The 82-year-old was on the ITV show to help viewers with various different problems, one of which included a person who had nightmare neighbours.

She said: “It’s a problem with neighbours isn’t it? I have the same.

“They’re very nice but they are noisy and they know it, I’m not saying anything they don’t know.

“I think you have to go to them and say, ‘I really need to talk to you about this because my because my health is becoming affected and I’m not happy and that’s not fair is it?’

“Then, if they’re still like that throw the s**t over the wall.”

As Josie Gibson immediately burst into laughter at Miriam’s strong language, Holly Willoughby cringed and made a noise to alert their guest at what she’d just said.

Trying to stifle her giggles, Josie and Holly addressed viewers: “Sorry again.”

Realising her strong language, Miriam covered her mouth and apologised.

Holly added: “You felt so comfortable you forgot yourself there for a moment didn’t you?“

Miriam replied: “I’m so sorry, I don’t mean – anyway, I apologise.”

Continuing to give advice to the viewer, the 82-year-old told them if their neighbours are aware of the damage they’re causing they shouldn’t continue.

Although Holly and Miriam were quick to apologise for the blunder, it seemed viewers found the whole ordeal hilarious.
