NCIS Sydney preview feature on CBS and Paramount +

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from NCIS Sydney.

NCIS Sydney’s team is headed up by Agent Michelle Mackey and naturally, fans want to know all there is about the actress behind her.

The fourth spin-off in the NCIS universe is the first to be set internationally and since making its debut last month, NCIS Sydney has gone down a storm with viewers.

For the second time in the CBS franchise’s history, following Agent Jane Tennant (played by Vanessa Lachey) in NCIS Hawaii, a female agent is leading the way with Agent Michelle Mackey.

Prior to joining NCIS, Mackey was a Marine Corps helicopter pilot who was at some point court-martialled for an unknown incident and later found not guilty.

With Mackey at the heart of the drama, it’s no wonder that viewers are also keen to find out all there is about the actress behind her, Olivia Swann.

What else has NCIS Sydney star Olivia Swann been in?

British actress Olivia Swann may be fronting a spin-off of one of the biggest shows in the world but her television career is far from extensive.

Her first onscreen role was actually just five years ago when she made an appearance in an episode of the medical series Doctors.

She was also in the short Together, Alone in 2022 and popped up in the thriller movie River Wild earlier this year as a character called Karissa.

Her biggest role to date though was for three years in The CW series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

Swann was behind Astra Logue, one of the drama’s villains who had joined forces with the Ancient Greek God Fates in a bid to end free will across the multiverse.

In the end, however, she saw the error of her ways and began working with the Legends, helping John Constantine (Matt Ryan) who was able to regain his soul.

Unfortunately, Legends of Tomorrow was cancelled just before Warner Bros. and Discovery merged in 2022.

The show was the first of many cancellations after WBD’s launch as part of its cost-cutting efforts to account for the price of the merger.

In the fourth episode of NCIS Sydney’s first series, Ghosted, “a US petty officer’s body is found in Sydney’s historic and haunted rocks area.”

According to the synopsis, “a decades-old navy cross medal holds the clue to solving the murder, leading the team on a wild ghost chase to catch a killer”.

In the teaser for the episode, someone is also seen asking Mackey if she ever killed someone so perhaps fans are going to find out even more about the agent’s backstory in Ghosted.

NCIS Sydney continues every Tuesday on CBS.
