STRICTLY Come Dancing has been engulfed in yet another fix row after the results over the weekend.
Waterloo Road actor Adam Thomas was eliminated from the long-running BBC dancing show after loosing the dance-off to Angela Rippon.
On Saturday's Strictly Come Dancing, Adam, 35, failed to impress with his Rumba and came bottom of the leaderboard, whilst Angela Rippon, 79, scored only one point higher with her Waltz.
After they both landed in the dreaded showdown after receiving the least votes from the public, even host Claudia Winkleman and judge Anton Du Beke claimed it was one the 'closest ever'.
All four judges elected to save the legendary TV presenter, however fans of the publicly funded show claimed it may have been a 'fix'.
Viewers of the ballroom competition took to X – formerly known as Twitter – in their droves as they expressed outrage at the result.

One fan fumed: "Dissapointed in the judges vote on the dance off , Angela as lovely as she is clearly made mistakes and Adam should have gone through, favouritism will ruin strictly."
A second exclaimed: "What a sham! Angela R did not glide anywhere! She stuttered through that waltz, was nowhere near elegant. The only thing she did correctly was bob up and down."
"What a joke! Yes, Angela is good ‘for her age’ but come on!! How the hell was her performance better than Adam’s? And all 4 judges giving it to her? NOWAY!! Totally agree with others on here they need to get her to Blackpool! Total farce!" posted a third.
As a fourth stated: "They just want Angela to get to Blackpool cos that was a fix."

A fifth commented: "Angela should have gone. It's an absolute fix. She made so many mistakes and very unsteady. Adam was by a mile the better dancer."
"So… we all gonna talk about how the judges saved Angela when Adam danced so much better in that dance off? I’m bias as an Adam fan but people who are Angela fans have admitted she didn’t dance well this week and he did… total fix from the judges 😤," wrote a sixth viewer.
And a seventh fan added: "There’s no way Angela was better than Adam. I think #Strictly might be fixed after all."
Despite the result, Angela will progress through to next week as she gets one step closer to competing in the legendary Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
Whilst Adam's average score from the judges across the series was just over 27, Angela's has been significantly higher as she sits at over 30 points.
