Rochelle Humes’ sweet update on Josie Gibson’s son Reggie as she spends time with him in Oz

Rochelle Humes has given a reassuring update on how Josie Gibson's five-year-old son Reggie has been getting on without his mum while she takes part in I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!.

Josie, 38, has been shown a number of times getting tearful in the ITV reality contest as she opens up on how much she misses Reggie – but Rochelle told Josie's This Morning co-stars that she has nothing to worry about because the youngster has been living his best life at a fancy Australian hotel.

Appearing on Friday's This Morning, Rochelle called in to the show from Australia where she is waiting for husband Marvin to leave the jungle and told hosts Rylan and Emma Willis how Reggie is getting on Down Under as he waits for his mum to finish the show.

She said: "It's nice to see Josie's family here and Reggie's getting on great. I tell you what, he hasn't got out of the hot tub. So she's got nothing to worry about, he's doing A-OK."

Josie had left fans concerned that she might quit last week as she told Danielle Harold: "I just miss my little boy. I shouldn't have ever left him this long."

She added in the Bush Telegraph: "Just had a little wobble. You just feel very guilty. I'll never leave him this long again, ever."

Earlier this week, the contestants were given their letters from home to read out to each other, with Nigel Farage reading Reggie's letter to Josie.

It said: "Hello Mummy, I hope you are having the best time in the jungle, I have been watching you at home with Daddy. The snakes and spiders look scary mummy, but you are doing a good job. I love you and miss you."

Rochelle also shared that she had grown close to many of the other contestants' friends and family as she waited to be reunited with Marvin.

She said: "It's like a little happy campers bus. All of the friends and family, every morning, you drive up to camp and watch the show live and then wait to see who's evicted, greet your loved one on the bridge."

Emma told her: "When you get on that bus in the morning, I remember it when Matt was in there, you build this really quick bond with the other friends and family."

Rochelle agreed: "It's strange, I've only known these people for two days but we've already got so much in common because our loved ones are in there and they've all become really close, so goodness knows how they feel because I feel like I've made best friends already."

She added that she was proud of how Marvin had done in the show and said: "I thought he was having some kind of mid-life crisis. Normally people go and buy a fancy car, he goes in the jungle. I still can't get my head around it."
