Bobby Brazier speaks about inspiring his brother
Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier will miss out on winning the BBC competition, according to the bookmakers’ latest odds. After 12 weeks of strutting their stuff on the ballroom floor, tonight, Ellie Leach, Bobby or Layton Williams will be crowned the winner of Strictly 2023.
However, according to the bookmakers, Bobby will “miss out” on lifting the Glitterball Trophy as he has odds of 16/1 of winning. Former soap star Ellie and her dance partner Vito Coppola are the frontrunners with odds of 1/14, while Layton and Nikita Kuzmin are close behind them with odds of 9/1.
Sam Boswell, spokesperson of BetVictor began: “Ellie Leach is our favourite to lift the Glitterball trophy, priced up at 1/14. Bobby was the early favourite before week one, but Ellie’s incredible performances and her undeniable chemistry with Vito has seen her odds slashed from 12/1 when the market launched, to become the big favourite to lift the Glitterball Trophy this weekend.”
“We soon realised that the Coronation Street actress was a talented mover, but, crucially, she lacked self-belief and confidence. Fast-forward twelve weeks, she’s now a fierce performer, hurling herself into daredevil lifts and ambitious routines.”
“Tomorrow, their favourite dance is American Smooth to Ain’t That A Kick In The Head by Robbie Williams, their show dance is Jennifer Lopez Megamix, and their judges’ pick is Paso Doble to Insomnia by 2WEI. She’s averaging 35.2 points out of 40, can she go on to win?”

Despite the backlash Layton has received over his previous dance experience, Sam went on to say: “Layton Williams is our second favourite at 9/1.
“The stage and screen actor instantly looked at home on the Strictly dance floor – but that’s been both a blessing and a curse. Many viewers have expressed that they’re unhappy that Layton, who starred in musicals such as Billy Elliot, is essentially a professional dancer.
“Overcoming that perception has really been Williams’s biggest challenge, but nevertheless, he’s been great to watch every week.”

Tonight, Layton and Nikita will perform the Argentine Tango to Tattoo by Loreen, and their show dance is Friend Like Me by Ne-Yo.
Sam stated: “The judges’ pick is the Quickstep to Puttin’ On The Ritz by Gregory Porter. He’s hit that perfect 40 twice, for his semi-final Charleston and quarter-final Paso Doble, can they hit 40 for a third time?”
Turning his attention to Bobby and Dianne Buswell, the expert added: “Bobby is our rank outsider at 16/1. In the latter weeks, he’s discovered some competitive fire and really fought for his place in the final. Brazier isn’t far off Ellie and Layton, with a 32.5 scoring average across the season, peaking in the semi-final with 38 for his Quickstep.”
“In the final, their favourite dance is Couple’s Choice to This Woman’s Work by Maxwell, and for their show dance, he’s doing his show dance to a medley from the film La La Land. The judges’ pick is Samba to Young Hearts Run Free by Candi Staton.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns tonight at 7pm on BBC One.
