Strictly’s Bobby Brazier has people comparing him to very famous rock star

Eastenders star Bobby Brazier has been called a young Mick Jagger by fans online after his swoon-worthy performance on Saturday’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Bobby, 20, who is the son of TV presenter Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody, danced a samba to Young Hearts Run Free from the film Romeo + Juliet.

Bobby told viewers: “I started to move my hips to unlock them a little bit. My hips don’t really do that!”

But scores of fans disagreed saying he smashed the dance when he took to the stage with his pro partner Dianne Buswell.

One X, formerly Twitter, user said: “Strong Mick Jagger vibes from young Bobby Brazier on #StrictlyComeDancing tonight. Could definitely see him playing him in a biopic or musical.”

Another commented: “Bobby Brazier has to be a young Mick Jagger!!! Those hips! Those lips!”

And another wrote: “Bobby Brazier looks like a young Mick Jagger.”

Meanwhile, others simply declared their love for the young star.

Another said: “How sweet is Bobby Brazier. Simply lovely, my god his Dad has done a damn good job there. Well done Bobby, we love you.”

And another: “I absolutely love Bobby Brazier on Strictly he’s my number 1, the joy & happiness on his face while he’s dancing just makes me smile.

“He’s got so much rhythm he’s a fabulous dancer.”

Dad Jeff was visibly moved by his son’s performance in last week’s show and he is one of the favourites to take the Glitterball trophy home later this year.

And it’s not the first time that Bobby has left his proud dad blubbing.

At the National Television Awards earlier this month Jeff was left in tears after his son dedicated his Rising Star award to him.

Bobby paid tribute to Jeff when collecting the award.

He said: “This actually has very, very, very little to do with me and everything to do with my dad. Over the course of the last twenty years, I have consistently heard him say ‘because I can’.

“It was a mantra or a motto of his, and him just saying that it’s.. Because I can!”

Jeff has previously spoke of how proud he was of his son for his acting work on the soap.

He said: “I’m really proud of Bobby and the attitude he has had since he’s been on EastEnders. He’s wanted to absorb as much from all the incredibly experienced actors around him.

“He’s made a really good start to his career, and I can see he’s proud of himself, too. I can see every time I switch it on that he’s got better.”
