Strictly’s Karen Hauer reveals her future on the show after rumours she was set to QUIT after early 2023 exit | The Sun

KAREN Hauer has opened up about her future on Strictly Come Dancing following rumours she was set to quit the show.

The 41-year-old and her celebrity partner Eddie Kadi were the fourth pairing to be sent home during the current series of Strictly.


Following the blow fans were quick to speculate that this series would be Karen's last.

But Karen has shut down the rumours.

During an Instagram Q&A with fans she was asked: "Are you considering retirement from Strictly?"

Karen replied: "Ummm no darlin'."

It comes after a few underwhelming years for Karen on the show.

She and 2021 partner Greg James were third to be eliminated while she and Jayde Adams, who competed last year, were sent home in week four.

After Karen and Eddie were sent home, one fan wrote on Reddit: "I could see Karen and Gorka [Marquez] leaving. Their attitude this season has been off."

Another agreed, adding: "It seems like she’s not enjoying it as much anymore."

It's been a tough time for Karen away from work after it was revealed she and husband Jordan Wyn-Jones had split just over a year after tying the knot.

While Karen has made it clear she has no intentions of leaving Strictly, she did previously admit she'd love to be a judge.

Karen said: "I'd love to be a judge on Strictly. I love to teach and I love to guide people. I think that's my calling, my next step.

"Right now, I'm really happy with being a professional on Strictly, and to continue spreading that love of dance."
