The Chase viewers were left distracted by a "hot" contestant during Thursday's show.

On Thursday (September 7), host Bradley Walsh returned to present the show to give four new contestants a prize fund shot.

Though fans at home were more focused on Joe, from Stratford upon Avon, as they fawned over his good looks.

Joe was joined by Bryan from Bangor, Laura from Basingstoke Julia from Milton Keynes, as they worked together as a team to take on one of the country's finest quiz brains.

Fans took to social media to share their admiration of Joe, including one eager fan who wanted to hunt him down on social media.

One wrote: "Ohhh joe hello Hun xoxox #thechase"

A second added: "FIND JOE’S SOCIAL MEDIAAAA #thechase"

However, viewers soon changed their tune when he took on The Chase's low offer of £1,000.

He told Brad: "Call me a coward but I'm desperate to get back."

Bradley then said: "I've got to be honest with you, I think you're quite capable."

One then wrote: "Right Joe can get f****d now #thechase"

Another put: "Go high Joe so I can go low…. #TheChase"

Joe, 22, didn't make it through his one-on-one round and was sent packing by The Beast.

The contestant bowed out gracefully and was sent off-screen after getting too many questions wrong.

Another viewer added: "To be fair to the lad he is getting some stinker questions #TheChase"

The Beast, formerly known as Mark Labbett, was able to keep him out of the competition.

Mark and his new girlfriend and presenter Hayley Palmer attended the National Television Awards together earlier this week.

The two first announced their relationship earlier this year and they are both said to be "very happy".
