The Chase: Anne Hegarty recalls her I’m a Celeb experience
The Chase viewers were left stunned at the performance of Chaser Jenny Ryan and the three contestants who made it through to the final round during a recent episode. Bradley Walsh was joined by Karen, Anna, David and Tony who played to win a life-changing sum of money.
For first contestant Karen, was quickly caught by Jenny and was eliminated from the final chase. The remaining three were able to secure £17,000 in the bank and managed to get 16 steps ahead of Jenny.
However, during their round of questioning the three passed on a lot of questions which could have been easily guessed, giving them a larger head start. Jenny also had a rough play as she got seven questions wrong, some which she could have easily gotten as well.
The three contestants failed six times to push her back, successfully only pushing her back once which left viewers at home furious.
Taking to their X accounts, formerly known as Twitter, user @Stepharrnee fumed: “Nobody deserves to win this. What a pile of s**t #TheChase.”

Unfortunately for Anna, David and Tony, Jenny caught them with seven seconds left to spare and going home with nothing.
Touching on their performance, Bradley quipped: “I don’t know what to say about that. I honestly don’t.
“Seven attempts to push back. Seven. One executed and caught with seven seconds remaining. Sadly you have been caught, astonishingly.”
Jenny added: “So many of those were me flipping the coin in my head and it ended up the wrong way round.
“I think what actually made the difference is you could have put one or two on your score if you had guessed rather than passed on a couple of those.”
The Chase airs weekdays from 5pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
