The Inheritance is focused around a family who are trying to get to the bottom of a mystery. Here's the lowdown.

Soap fans will recognise her as Judy Mallett from Coronation Street and more recently Megan Macey in Emmerdale.
The star has had quite the career away from acting, winning Dancing On ice back in 2006.

What is The Inheritance about?
The Inheritance follows the story of three siblings who are "left reeling after an unexpected death in the family," according to the official synopsis.
Sian, Daniel and Chloe Watson's father Dennis dies and leaves all of his money to a woman called Susan who they have never heard of.
It comes out that he had a 14-year affair with the woman and married her in secret.
This causes the trio to become suspicious that Susan played some part in his death.
Channel 5 says: "Secrets are exploded, relationships ripped apart, and lives lost as the siblings try desperately to claw back their inheritance and make sense of what is happening around them, asking the question: Is blood really thicker than water?"
Where was The Inheritance filmed?
The Inheritance was filmed in Ireland.
Most of it was filmed in the picturesque village of Inistioge in County Kilkenny.
Talking about filming, Gaynor Faye said: "The whole series was filmed in Kilkenny, Ireland, which was amazing and I only came home once in the whole shoot.
"I wanted to discover the beautiful Emerald Isle, so I spent my weekends writing and travelling around, it was magical."
When does The Inheritance start?
The Inheritance will air on Channel 5 at 9pm on Monday, 4 September, 2023.
