CHRISTMAS is fast approaching and residents of the cobbles are slowly getting ready to celebrate.
However, two villains decide to bring mayhem again in Coronation Street as they work out a mysterious plot.
Damon Hay left the Street in a hurry earlier this year after realising that Niall was seeking him out to make him pay for grassing on him.
But the criminal played by Ciaran Griffiths was shocked as he had done no such thing – it was all a ploy organised by his rival Adam Barlow to get him away from his cheating wife Sarah Platt.
At the time of his exit from the ITV soap, Damon had no clue Sarah was pregnant with his baby following their steamy affair.
Meanwhile in prison, his half-brother Harvey Gaskell (portrayed by Will Mellor) bonded with Sam Blakeman before turning to Nick Tilsley and helping him out of a tough financial spot.

Both siblings are known to be able to cause havoc in Weatherfield and one of their moves can sometimes hide darker motives.
In scenes due to air, Harvey and Damon return to the cobbles, but what are they planning?
It all begins as Adam and Sarah Barlow (Sam Robertson and Tina O'Brien) try to get along despite their explosive separation, as he drops her son Harry off.
Noting that she’s dressed to the nines, Adam assumes she’s got a date and quickly pretends that he’s got one too.

In the Bistro, Adam and Sarah admit that neither of them has a hot date lined up.
When Adam offers to buy her a glass of champagne, Sarah accepts and it’s clear they still fancy each other.
In later scenes, however, Adam has a panic attack and he assures Sarah that he’s feeling much better.
Sarah suggests they meet for a drink and a hopeful Adam thinks that this could be a new start for them.
In the pub, Sarah googles panic attacks and promises Adam that they’re going to tackle his anxiety together.
Outside, as Adam and Sarah part company, neither of them notices Damon Hay is back in the cobbles after months of absence and he's watching them from across the street.
As Adam heads for his office, a man follows him in a van.
Adam’s horrified to find himself tied up in the back of the van but will he be able to escape without being harmed?

Later on, a carefree Damon strolls into the Bistro to demand Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) for the money he gave Harvey Gaskell to invest in the restaurant.
Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) then arrives to question Damon about Adam's kidnap.
Against all odds and expectations, in the factory, Sarah insists that she was with Damon at the time of Adam's kidnapping ordeal, turning herself into the criminal's only alibi.
After being confronted by Sarah's daughter Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon), Damon is distracted by a phone call and hurries out.
