Where is the Big Brother 2023 house? | The Sun

BIG Brother’s new house location has been revealed as the show prepares to return to screens next month.

Here is everything you need to know about where the new housemates will be living.

Where is the Big Brother 2023 house?

Big Brother will be moving away from its previous spot at Elstree Studios, where the house was actually demolished after the final series.

Filming will now take place at Garden Studios, which is a newly-built studio in West London.

The MailOnline reported that the new space boasts all the "latest production technologies" and "versatile staging".

A source said: "Garden Studios is the ideal location for filming the new Big Brother series.

"Not only is it London-based but it’s only been open for a year and promises the highest standard of production and also a commitment to sustainability."

They added: "Elstree Studios became famous for Big Brother and its live studio audience and bosses are hoping Garden Studios will grow to be as loved as the show’s first iconic home."

The interior of the Big Brother 2023 house hasn't been revealed yet.

However, there should be a preview of the house shared in the days leading up to the first episode on October 8, 2023.

Is the Big Brother backyard really outside?

Big Brother producers value the privacy of the show which means there are high walls around the garden.

This is so there is no contact with the outside world for the duration of filming.

It is also for security reasons as people from the outside will not be able to climb in.

Do Big Brother contestants get paid?

Big Brother houseguests do indeed get paid during their time on the show but it's not for participating in the show.

Speaking to the Metro, a Big Brother spokesperson denied that any housemates negotiated specific fees to take part.

“Unlike Celebrity Big Brother, housemates are not paid to participate as they have a chance of winning £100,000,” the rep commented.

However, series 15 star Mark Byron said Big Brother helps the housemates by offering a small cash sum to help with the bills on the outside world.

He said: "They give you a little bit to help you, they do give you a subsidy. I think, when I was on, it was only something like £50. It's not a lot but they do help you.

"It was like £50 for every day you're in there which isn't a lot but if you're in there for 13 weeks it soon adds up."

The Big Brother reboot has confirmed its prize money and said it is an "incredible amount".

The casting team's advert said: "We’re looking for the nation’s most interesting, funny and entertaining characters from all walks of life. Think you’ve got what it takes to be a great housemate?

"If you want an amazing experience and a chance of winning an incredible amount of money, we’d love to hear from you."

The exact prize fund is yet to be revealed.
