FUMING residents say their seaside town has the UK's "rudest landlords" – claiming they are lazy and appear sometimes to only open when they feel like it.
Locals and visitors say they are shocked at the "rude" service and allegedly unpredictable opening hours at the Lamorna Wink, near Lands End, Cornwall.
One villager in Lamorna told The Sun: "I think they’re the UK’s rudest landlords.
"Most people think they are just lazy. They just do things the way they want."
Geoff Harry claimed he tried to call in for lunch this summer but was allegedly turned away – as it “wasn’t worth it” to open the kitchen.
Writing on Tripadvisor, Mr Harry said: “We called in for lunch and found the whole place completely empty of anyone, no staff or customers.
“Finally the landlord arrived telling us there was no food today because it wasn’t worth it as we’d probably be the only customers.”
Another woman writing an online review, Denise S, said she visited twice during advertised opening hours and found the pub closed.
She wrote: “What a waste of time. What is the point of saying it is going to be open when it isn’t?”
Another pub regular added: “It seems good but last winter there was rarely any heat, they said the wood burner was broken and it was too expensive to fix.
“They said they had bought new windows and a coffee machine and that was the reason.
“If they don’t want to serve food they refuse and send customers to another pub.
“They took away the bar stools and put reserved signs on the table so there is nowhere to sit except outside. Who wants to do that in winter?”
Despite being a countryside pub, dogs are allegedly banned from sitting indoors.

Moment huge RAT swipes food off table at pub in front of horrified customers
The website describes it as “a beautiful, rural, Cornish pub situated in the landmark village of Lamorna, Cornwall”.
At a nearby café, one member of staff said: “One of the most common questions people ask us is when is the pub open, but we don’t have a clue.
“It changes from week to week and is basically just when the landlord feels like opening.
“Now the summer is over I reckon they will be open even less.
"If they were friendly we would push people to visit in the evening."
The pub still boasts a four out of five ranking on TripAdvisor.
One reviewer described it as “a proper pub and very well run for locals and visitors alike”.
Another said it was a “Great, friendly pub. Lynsey and Lee who run the pub are a great pair”.
When The Sun visited the pub – run by Lee Saiche and fiancee Lynsey Brooks – during advertised opening hours, a sign pinned to the door said it was closed for a week despite there being no mention of this on their website or Facebook page.
When approached by The Sun the landlord declined to comment but said the pub was closed last week because they were on holiday.
The pub did not respond to a detailed request for comment emailed to the address listed on its website.
