Adam Thomas updates fans after Strictly rehearsal
Adam Thomas spoke out about his struggles juggling Strictly Come Dancing 2023 with his day job today.
The actor is playing Donte Charles in BBC’s Waterloo Road, while also taking part in the latest series of the ballroom favourite.
The 35-year-old admitted in an Instagram story: “I don’t know how long I can keep this up.”
He was seen trying to learn his lines for the television drama during some rare downtime at Elstree ahead of the second live Strictly show tonight.
He got candid with his one million followers ahead of his second routine, set to take place in a matter of hours.

“OK, so dance rehearsal done,” Adam started. “We’ve got another dance rehearsal later on.
“And it’s a special one because I’ve got my kids coming to watch me.”
“I’m excited to see their little faces,” he continued.
Adam is father to two children: son Teddy, nine, and daughter Elsie, who turned five in the summer.

He continued: “I’m just on my lunch break now and yeah just learning lines for Monday.”
Sighing, the small screen favourite added: “I don’t know how long I can keep this up, I’ll be honest with you. We’re trying.”
Despite his demanding roles, Adam is undoubtedly keen to stay in Strictly for as long as possible.
He and partner Luba Mushtuk will Tango to Somebody Told Me by Måneskin in the latest instalment.
The pair failed to impress with last weekend’s Cha Cha to Waffle House by The Jonas Brothers.
They found themselves joint third from the bottom of the leaderboard with 19 points.
Adam was also dealt a blow after being forced to miss an important day of training.
He wrote online earlier this week: “Missing a days training today… but it’s all worth it. Work is work! Let’s go Donte!”(sic)
Strictly Come Dancing 2023 continues tonight at 6.20pm on BBC One.
