I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! has caused controversy by choosing former UKIP leader Nigel Farage as one of this year’s campmates.
Comedian Jason Manford is one of several stars who has hit out at the decision, promising to boycott the show again this year.
The 42-year-old star also chose not to watch the ITV series last year after they cast former Health Secretary Matt Hancock, who went on to win third place.
Jason took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to express his disappointment over the broadcaster’s decision to include another divisive political figure this year.
Addressing his 459,200 followers, Jason wrote: “Gutted to have to miss another series of Im a Celeb!

“H**cock last year & F****e this year, it’s a hard nope!” he added, starring out the politicians’ names so as not to draw further attention to them.
“Shame cos there’s some lovely and charming other contestants going in,” he added sadly. (sic)
Jason isn’t the only celebrity to complain about the casting decision, as actress Kathy Burke recently aimed a savage jibe at ITV bosses on X.

In view of her 551,900 followers, she wrote: “Quick, @itv there’s another hate baiting c*** available.”
The tweet was presumably referring to the decision to cast Nigel, as well as taking a shot at Suella Braverman, who was sacked from her role as Home Secretary yesterday.
The bold move to bring Nigel to the jungle comes after Matt’s time on the show was met with plenty of outrage last year, as many members of the public believe he has a lot to answer for in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Other celebrities rumoured to be joining this year’s I’m A Celeb line-up include Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn Spears, First Dates star Fred Sirieix and This Morning’s Josie Gibson.
Express.co.uk previously contacted ITV, Nigel Farage and Suella Braverman’s representatives for comment.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! kicks off on November 19 on ITV.
