Iconic heavy metal band Judas Priest recently dropped “Panic Attack,” the first single from their upcoming album Invincible Shield.
Judas Priest had announced their long-awaited 19th studio album Invincible Shield during their live performance at Indio, California’s Power Trip festival. The band filled in for former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who was scheduled to headline at the festival, but withdrew due to ongoing health issues.
The record will drop next year on March 8. The album will be the band’s first album in six years, a follow-up to 2018’s Firepower.
Judas Priest have been working on Invincible Shield on and off for the past few years. Earlier this year, guitarist Richie Faulkner told Heavy Consequence, “We’ve been working on a record for quite a while now. That got halted a little bit because of the COVID lockdowns. We’ve been trying to get that finished.”
