Robbie Williams said he slept with four of the Spice Girls – and it wasn’t Mel B

Robbie Williams: Netflix documentary trailer

Take That star Robbie Williams once bragged that he had bedded all but one of the Spice Girls.

However, one member of the girl group has since hit back at the singer’s claims, swiping: “He wishes”.

The unearthed remark comes as Netflix has promised Robbie’s new docuseries will be the “first of its kind to explore the real human being behind the salacious headlines”.

As well as charting Robbie’s rise to fame, it will also explore his personal life. Although he’s happily married to actress Ayda Field these days, he has admitted to being a player in the past.

Most notably, when he joked about sleeping with multiple members of the Spice Girls.

And whilst Robbie tried to backtrack on those claims in later years, Mel B appeared to confirm the rumours.

In 2016, Robbie told The Sun: “I told a joke a long time ago and it sort of got out of hand.”

He went on to add: ”On one particular [Take That] tour before [Back For Good] I introduced it by saying, ‘I am very fortunate to have been in Take That and four out of five of the Spice Girls.’

“That was my intro to the song and it was a joke and the joke went too far.”

Before adding: “I would like to apologise to all the Spice Girls involved and their husbands and boyfriends. I know a few husbands and boyfriends weren’t too happy with the joke.”

But when asked about the rumour on the Kyle and Jackie O Show, Mel B previously said: “He actually publicly apologised to me for all that mess. Saying he had apparently gotten it on with all five Spice Girls… He wishes.

“I was the one he never did. He’s a friend of mine. Yuck!

“He had been with my friends – I don’t want sloppy seconds.”

But Robbie Williams did date at least two of the Spice Girls.

In 2000, Robbie and Geri Halliwell were the showbiz power couple. It was even rumoured that he had penned his number one hit “Eternity” about Geri.

Robbie was also linked to Mel C, who addressed their relationship in her memoir Who I Am.

Speaking about whether she told Robbie that she had included in him her book she said: “Nah, sod him! I’m not warning him about anything the way he’s behaved over the years. Like all of us, relationships come and go.
