I have 28J boobs – I tried a viral dress you can’t wear a bra with, it got 0/10 for support | The Sun

A FASHION reviewer for large-chested women has given the thumbs down to a dress that has gone viral.

Measuring a generous 28J, she determined that the dress offered no support because the strappy design meant she couldn't wear a bra with it.

But it was frustrating because she thought the dress was cute.

Jen Warnes (@itsjenwarnes), who has 233,000 followers, was compelled to try on the frock after seeing its huge popularity online.

“Trying the viral Free People Taking Sides’dress as a 28GG," she said in her post.

This lady's TikTok is dedicated to finding clothes, swimwear, and bras for women with "small band [but] large cup sizes.”

Taking the dress out of its packaging, Jen suspected it wasn't going to work on her.

“It’s just the thing that would never work for my body type," she said.

Her worst fears were confirmed when she tried it on.

“I feel it’s not as cute on me as on the video I saw," she wrote.

Neither was it very flattering: “It’s really pushing my chest down and making it a really weird shape.

“It has no support and it’s not really doing anything for me up here."

Even when she tightened the straps at the back, it made little difference.

"Shame because it’s so cute but not big boob friendly."

This was a style, she concluded, not suited to women with her body shape.

“Definitely better for someone with a more moderate-sized chest. I think I’ll leave this one to the small girlies," she said.

Commenters were grateful for Jen's honest appraisal.

“Literally thought of buying the dupe yesterday but figured this would be the result so thanks," said one person.

A second sounded weary: “So tired of backless dresses. I wish they’d make more styles for those of us with big chests.”

A third was also returning hers: “I literally just sent this exact dress, color and all, back because it did nothing for my chest.”

And gratitude from a fourth person: “Thank you for this. I’ve been so tempted.”
