EVERYTHING is costing a little more these days.
There’s even the “super shrinkflation” trend which was exposed last month by a wide-ranging Sun on Sunday investigation.
This is where brands and supermarkets are not only just shrinking the size of their packaging, but also hiking the prices at the same time too.
Which makes it even better when a bargain beauty brand is discovered – and one that actually works.
Beauty fan Alexandra Frances West has found an Aldi dupe hair product, which is over £40 cheaper than the more expensive version.
Taking to TikTok, she shared a video of herself doing a hair care routine.

“It says to leave it on for 10 minutes, so I just did some jobs around the house then I got in the shower.
“I rinsed out step one and used the shampoo which is really rich.
“I recommend using lots of water and only a little bit of shampoo.
“I also want to choose the purple one, so what I did was use the normal shampoo again in my roots and the purple down the lengths.
“When I rinse it out, I use the moisture mask this feels so expensive you need quite a few pumps if you've got thick hair like me
“Then on to official Step three; which was this conditioner which feels luxurious on its own.
“This is a winner.
“Then here's me.
“I've blow dried it and I've waved it with GHD’s and I haven't used any other products except for the Aldi range.
“To give a fair review, I would recommend it.”
Alexandra said the products that she bought cost between £4 and £5, so “an absolute bargain for the feel.”
She added: “My hair feels strong and the strands feel thick if that makes sense.!
The video attracted comments with people sharing their thoughts and asking questions.
One said: “Are they sulphate free?”
To which Alexandra replied: “They are! And cruelty free. Big bonus.”
