I'm a chef and my cleaning hack is a game changer when you have super duper stuck-on messes – there's no scrubbing | The Sun

A CHEF has revealed a "game-changing" cleaning hack for tough messes on dishes.

Best of all, there's zero scrubbing involved, even for super duper stuck-on food stains.

Erin (@chef.erinmorley) shared the cleaning advice with over 590,000 TikTok followers.

"I don't like to gatekeep so I'll tell you what I do when I have a cooking sheet or frying pan that looks like this," she said, showing off a dirty cooking sheet.

"I save this hack for the super duper stuck on messes! When all is said and done, I'm just going to rinse this with water and it'll come off sparkling clean."

Erin grabbed a dishwasher pod, placed it on top of the cooking sheet, and soaked it with water.

"Now I'm just going to let this sit here for a couple of hours," she said.

Two hours later, she returned to the sink and simply rinsed the cooking pan off under her sink.

"Listen, I don't think you quite understand how stuck and dirty… that was baked-on honey and it slid right off," she said.

"It doesn't matter what you do to your pans, your baking sheets, you do that trick and it comes off spotless, you're welcome."

People took to the comments to thank her for the game-changing advice.

"Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear aprons," joked one commenter.

Others shared their own advice: "Just spray with Dawn power wash -it’ll come right off," said another.

Erin, however, insisted that the dishwasher tab was the way to go.

"Definitely does not work as well. I’ve tried at all!" she replied.
