A PROFESSIONAL cleaner has revealed the things she wouldn’t have in her home.
Libby Denney, owner of The Clean Up Company, explained that toilet brushes have got to go and carpet in the hallway is a big no no.
So if you want a home that will impress and be easy to clean, you’ll need to listen up.
Posting on social media, Libby explained: “Things I wouldn't have in my house as a professional cleaner. Don't ever get these, if you are thinking about getting them, don't do it – people who got them all know what I mean.
“Black taps – just don't do it.
“They scratch, they chip, absolutely awful, stick to stainless steel.”

Not only is Libby not a fan of black taps, but she also can’t stand carpet in hallways, gloss tiles or gloss kitchen cupboards too.
She added: “I feel like I might be coming for quite a lot of people here – but carpet in your hallway.
“Just don't do it, it's your main traffic area, it's gonna get filthy, the pile is gonna wear down on it.
“Stick to laminate, liner or tiles.

“While we're on the conversation of tiles, I made this mistake in my old house – gloss tiles.
“Unless you've got four hours a day to get on your hands and knees and buff them with a cloth, no, no, no, no, no,.
“They streak like mad, they're just an absolute pain in the a***.
“I learnt this from having one in my old house – gloss kitchen cupboards.
“You see every finger mark, even if you breathe on it, they mark.
“You’re forever buffing them up so don't don't do it to yourself.
“Groove kitchen cupboards – these build up with dust in between the cracks.
“Gets filthy and they're a nightmare to clean.”
Libby then shared her thoughts on toilet brushes, as she continued: “Now this – they make me feel sick when I see them, I hate them so much.
“All I can think about when I see one of them – that has cleaned the s**t off your toilet seat and then you're gonna put it back in there to sit – no, no, no, no.
“Bin it. A bit of bleach down your toilet is all you need. Get rid of it.”
Libby then revealed why she hates integrated fridge freezers and quadrant showers.
She noted: “Now I have one of these but I'm gonna warn you – they are nice [but] they're a nightmare – integrated fridge freezer.
“You see here where it meets – absolute build up of absolute c**p. Chances are you’re gonna find peas and everything.
“Just don't like it, don't like cleaning them.
“I used to have one of these – these sorts of [quadrant] showers.
“You know the runners? Just asking to be best friends with limescale, that's all I'm gonna say.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @thecleanupcompany, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 212,400 views.
Social media users agreed with Libby and were eager to express this in the comments.
