A HAIRCARE enthusiast has revealed that an affordable holy grail product helped her reverse a bald spot from wearing her hair back too tight.
She also shared her method, which she called the "Founding Fathers," for those days when she wants to wear her hair up again without risk of the bald spot returning.
Fiona Nguyen (@lyfefi) filmed herself detailing the technique in a video on TikTok.
She stood in front of a green screen, showing a photo of her previous bald patch on the top of her head.
"This is for any of the girlies that have a bald spot from pulling their hair back. Let me tell you how I fixed it," she said.
She revealed that a specific product helped her on her hair growth journey and won't break the bank.
"The Ordinary hair serum. It's affordable and it works. And I'm proof that it works," she added.

Fiona also shared some solid advice for those not quite ready to give up their slicked back up dos.

She described the style as a slicked back look with a middle part, similar to the Founding Fathers' of the United States' wigs.
"Claw clips, scrunchies will be your new best friend. Get rid of all those black hair ties that [you] used to have. They're not it again," she warned.
She shared yet another example of her voluminous hair, without a bald patch to be found.
"My hair, that little bald spot, gone," she raved. "It works."
The video drew in many viewers who shared their thoughts on the hair hack.
"Have fun using it your whole life," one wrote, suggesting that the serum only works as long as it's being used.
"I happily will," Fiona replied.
